Installation when buying fitness equipment
For products where this service is available, you can add installation directly on the product page.

The online option is available for exercise bikes, cross trainers, treadmills and multi-gyms. Transport costs are charged separately for delivery and installation outside Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv and Stara Zagora.
If the option is missing from the product page or you need installation of another type of equipment, call 0701 90009 and have your order number ready.
Installation takes place on a working day between 10:30 and 17:00. The service team will contact you in advance to arrange the time.

Fitness equipment delivery and installation prices
Installation is charged according to the product type. For requests outside Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv and Stara Zagora, the customer also pays for transport and installation.

Prices include VAT and apply to orders and requests from 8 October 2026. Earlier orders retain the previous prices, including when the service is carried out after this date.
Weight brackets refer to the weight of the equipment. Transport outside a town or city without a SPORT DEPOT store is charged at €0.40/km for the distance in both directions.
Carrying equipment to a house is agreed individually with the service team based on the distance, access to the entrance and difficulty. For an apartment, carrying equipment upstairs using a lift is charged only when installation has not been paid for. If a lift cannot be used, delivery with paid installation incurs only the stair-carrying charge for each floor. Without paid installation, both carrying and stair-carrying charges apply for each floor.
Ski and snowboard service prices 2026/2027
This price list is valid from 1 October 2026 for season 2026/2027. All prices are final, in euros, including VAT.
Standard service: 14 days. Express service: 7 days. Turnaround starts when the equipment is accepted at SPORT DEPOT MEGA STORE in Sofia.
Skis and snowboards measuring exactly 140 cm belong to the “up to and including 140 cm” price group.

The final price for ski bonding repairs, edge straightening and binding mounting is determined after an on-site inspection at the workshop.
Service codes (A–E)
A — Waxing
Wax protects the edges. Combining waxing with edge sharpening is recommended.
B — Edge sharpening
Side edges are sharpened to 89°. A different angle incurs an extra charge. Combining sharpening with waxing is recommended.
C — Scratch filling
Scratches are filled with plastic using a special gun, without using a repair candle. This is not available as a standalone service.
D — Base sanding
The base is machine-sanded using at least two types of abrasive paper. This is not available as a standalone service.
E — Structure
The base is stone-ground. Fine grooves are created to channel meltwater away from beneath the skis.

What do the services include?
Full service includes waxing, edge sharpening, scratch filling and machine sanding of the base (A+B+C+D).
Full service + structure includes waxing, edge sharpening, scratch filling and stone grinding to create a structure (A+B+C+E).
Basic service includes waxing, edge sharpening and machine sanding of the base (A+B+D).

Where can products be dropped off for service?
The drop-off method and location depend on the product type and required service. Contact the service team before visiting or sending a product by courier.
- Fitness equipment: service centres in more than 10 cities, with the main centres in Sofia, Varna and Plovdiv.
- Inline and roller skates: drop-off by prior arrangement in Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv and Stara Zagora, or courier shipment.
- Bicycles: serviced through partner workshops in Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna.
- Skis and snowboards: drop-off and collection at SPORT DEPOT MEGA STORE in Sofia.
Warranty and information to prepare
All products at SPORT DEPOT have a standard two-year warranty. For fitness equipment, the warranty can be extended to three years for an additional charge of 10% of the regular product price.
For warranty service, the customer does not pay for transport or work to resolve the warranty issue.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. By prior arrangement, service technicians can visit an address to diagnose or resolve an issue.
Yes. A door-to-door service is available: collection of the equipment, servicing and return after the repair. Terms and applicable prices are agreed in advance.
No. Installation by the service department is recommended, but it is not a condition for warranty validity.
For an accepted warranty claim, the customer does not pay for transport or work to resolve the issue.

We aim to service fitness equipment within 14 days of receiving the request. For skis and snowboards, turnaround is 7 or 14 days depending on the selected service, starting when the equipment is accepted at SPORT DEPOT MEGA STORE in Sofia.

Carrying equipment to an apartment using a lift is charged when installation has not been paid for.
