What to do in the event of an accident?
On all slopes there is a recovery service. Anyone who gets injured is transported to a doctor or clinic at the ski station (this service is covered by the insurance, included in your lift pass); any further treatment is either covered by the client's insurance or paid cash on prices as specified in the clinic itself. Make sure you have a valid winter sports insurance. If you find someone who has been injured:
- Never move the victim of the accident or remove their ski boots;
- Remove the injured person's skis and put them in an upright X several meters above the injured person in the snow;
- Try to keep the injured person as warm as possible;
- Inform the ski station staff or pisters at the bottom of the nearest ski lift; they will ask you the following information: where the accident occurred; what injury the person may have to your knowledge etc.;
- Anyone involved or who witnessed the accident should give information to any member of the ski station;
